Volunteering with TAB-AU in Cambodia

As an experienced teacher and educator you might like to volunteer to lead a workshop program or co present. If you are a less experienced teacher or a student you could assist in a workshop.

Why come to Cambodia?

“I wanted to share, to give back to other people and share the knowledge I had acquired over the years,”

“It provided me with the experience of working with a very professional group of teachers from varied backgrounds and sharing our experiences”

“To share resources, to assist teachers to teach children in the Khmer way not our way”

“Teachers’ sharing teaching methodology with no hidden agenda”

Application Process for workshop presenters

Teachers interested in volunteering as workshop presenters as part of Teachers Across Borders (Aust) Inc program should be experienced teachers and have a strong curriculum focus. Less experienced teachers are able to participate as assistants to workshop presenters.

The application form should be completed and either

emailed to

     Volunteer[at]TeachersAcrossBorders.org.au

          OR

mailed to

     TAB (Aust) Inc.,

     PO Box 123 Warrandyte,

     VIC 3155 Australia

Applicants are interviewed by a member of the Committee of Management and referees contacted. A recommendation is then made to the Committee of Management as to the suitability of the applicant and their proposed workshop program.

An induction program is run for all new workshop presenters
